MAKEUP WITH FENTY BEAUTY SNAP SHADOW

A cult mini eyeshadow palette with colours all personally chosen by Rihanna, the Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow palettes are chic and compact and can be snapped together to create a fully customised look. Their petite size means you can snap two together and have an eyeshadow palette of 12 shades that will still fit in your palm.

Today we're focusing on Cher's favourite palette, Snap Shadow No. 1, which is a beautiful mix of six nude colours; three shimmers and three mattes which can be effortlessly blended together to create a soft and neutral makeup look that enhances your natural beauty with minimum effort.

Why go nude?

Universally flattering, a nude palette on the eyes leaves an irresistible finish that can be built upon if you want to go darker come evening. The colours in the Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow No.1 harmonise perfectly and ensure you always look polished and never overdone. Going nude on the eyes is great if you want to add a bright pop of colour on the lips but works equally well if you want to keep everything nude for a dewy, natural but polished look. The six neutral shades in this palette will make your eyes appear brighter and bigger and the darker shades and shimmers mean you can still create a smoky eye when you want to.

How to go nude?

With the Fenty Beauty palette, Cher is using the darker shade to create definition, the medium shades to blend and the lighter shades to highlight. You'll see her create a base across the entire lid with the lighter shade and also using a couple of colours below her eye to give uniformity. Going in with a medium shade she focuses on the crease and outer corner to make sure her eyes still look big. The darkest shade is then applied to define the crease and lash line before being swept across the outer edge. All the colours are then softly blended for a subtle transition that creates the perfect nude look.
